Lipid Inc. Presents Pro OS v1.2 Jan. 16, 2000. Size 638 Bytes
------------------------------------------------------------
Pro OS v1.2 is a command based OS for the Ti83. From the
command line, you can either enter a command, or open either
the Pro OS Shell or the Explorer. However, everything you
can do in the Shell/Explorer can be done at the command line,
so it's up to you if you want to use them or not. Now I
will give a list of commands accepted by Pro OS v1.2:

LST: Lists the four program slots and their respective names
     ( if any ).

EXIT: Exits to TiOS Mode.

SHELL: Loads Pro OS Shell ( if available ).

EXPLORER: Loads Pro OS Explorer ( if available )

SEND: Allows you to send a message to a linked Pro OS Calc.

PLUS: Loads Plus Menu ( if available )

PRONT1: Opens prgmPRONT1

PRONT2: Opens prgmPRONT2

PRONT3: Opens prgm PRONT3

PRONT4: Opens prgm PRONT4

Also, you may type in the stored string name of a program to
open that program. For example, if PRONT1 opened Billy the
Monkey Boxing, and the program stored "BILLY BOXING" into
str1, then typing "BILLY BOXING" would open prgm PRONT1.
------------------------------------------------------------
You may be wondering about the SEND command. To use Pro OS
as an instant messenger for two linked calcs, they must each
be in the Pro OS command line. When one calc sends, the
message will not show up on the other calc right away. As
of v1.2, the calc that is getting the message must execute a
bad command to get the message to appear. Type something
like 'blah' and you will get a BAD COMMAND followed by a new
message notification.
